Our 3 boutique yachts provide intimate, all-inclusive Galápagos adventures, bringing guests close to the islands’ unique wildlife and pristine landscapes. On Santa Cruz Island, our lodge serves as a tranquil home base for land-based exploration or as a perfect complement to a cruise. Guests can enjoy immersive on-site experiences, including chocolate-making workshops and tours of our artisanal cheese factory with tastings.

OUR HISTORY

More than 45 years ago, Judy Carvalhal set out to explore South America, guided by her curiosity and a degree in Evolutionary Biology. That journey led her to the Galápagos Islands, where everything changed.

Drawn by the extraordinary wildlife and the living story of evolution unfolding around her, Judy became a naturalist guide, sharing the wonders of the islands with the few travelers who made it there at the time. What began as a personal journey quickly grew into a lifelong calling.

Aboard a small sailboat, The Nixie, Judy guided scientists and adventurous travelers through the archipelago, sparking a sense of wonder that would later inspire the creation of Enchanted Expeditions.

Today, Enchanted Expeditions has grown into a boutique, family-run company, with Judy working alongside her children, partners Martin Schreyer and Sergio Bernardi, and dedicated team to carry forward a legacy built on passion, knowledge, and a deep respect for the Galápagos and Ecuador.
